University of St. Francis/Joliet Memorial Stadium Summer Meets
May 31 - June 1: IPTT Multi-Event State Championships
June 8 (6 p.m.): 5K; open to the public, registration will be on EPSN Dyestat
June 8 (6:45 p.m. - 9 p.m.): Midwest Distance Festival; for high school athletes, registration will be on EPSN Dyestat
June 9 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.): Senior Spotlight Competition; open to top seniors from IL, WI, IA
June 14 (5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.): Thursday Night Summer Series; open to all, $5 entry
July 5 (5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.): Thursday Night Summer Series; open to all, $5 entry
July 12 (5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.): Thursday Night Summer Series; open to all, $5 entry

May 11th 2012
Sectionals at Hanson Stadium
The Lady Mustangs finished first at the Chicago Brooks 2A sectionals beating Chicago University High by 9 points.
Freshmen Sierra Riley lead the mustangs winning the long jump (16'4.75), placing 2nd in the high jump (4'10), and running on the 4x100 relay of Rianna Carson, Hope Thomas, and Monica falconer which placed 2nd (51.51). Falconer won the high jump at 4'10 to quailify the 2nd year in a row. Sophomore Taylor Tillman won the discus (71'07). The 4x800 of Emily Radgowski, Colleen Morrison, Leeza Campbell, and Rachel Koronkiwitz placed 2nd to quailify to state(11:15). Junior Alex Howard placed 2nd in the 100 hurdles to quailify to state(18.3). Howard narrowly missed going in the 300 hurdles as well. Many other athletes including freshmen Tricia Butera, Jordan Annang, Eilleen Rohan, and sophomores Tyra Smith and Arriana Witherspoon contributed points for the win. Congrats Ladies on a wonderful season.

Conference! 4th on Both Levels!
Congrats to the Lady Mustangs track team who placed 4that the conference meet last night. Despite the down pour of rain Rianna Carson led the mustangs finishing 2nd in both the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash. She also lead the relays of Sierra Riley, Monica Falconer, and Diamond Williams to a 2nd place finish in the 4x200, and third
place finish in the 4x100. Hope Thomas placed third in the triple jump and the 4x800 relay of Radgowski, Campbell, Koronkiwitz, and Morrison placed 4thfor the Varsity team. The lady mustangs did a great job tuesday at Oak Forest. Many personal Records were set including the 4x800, Colleen Morrison in the mile, Rihanna Carson in the 200, and Trisha Butera in the 2 mile. The mustangs are getting ready for Richards on Friday!

The Lady Mustangs finished 5th at the 8 team, Oswego East Invite on Friday Night. The Ladies were led
by sophomore Rihanna Carson who finished 2ndin both the 100m Dash and 200m Dash. She also lead the 4x100 meter Relay of Diamond Williams, Hope Thomas, and Monica Falconer to a 3rd place finish. 4/10/2012 @ Argo with DDE and Bremen
The Lady Mustangs did a great job against Bremen, DDE, and Argo on tuesday. They finished 2nd to Argo and were lead by Junior Diamond Williams, who won both the 100 and 200 dash. She was also a part of the winning 4x200, and second place 4x100m relay! Their were many other personal records put forth by the lady mustangs despite the cold weather. Congrats Girls!

DODGEBALL 4/4/2012!
4-3-2012 Home with TFN, Tinley, and Shepard
The mustangs ran really well. Finishing 1st on the JV level and 3rd on the Varsity Level. The JV was led by sophomore Joanie Nard and Freshmen Tricia Butera. The Varsity was led by Sierra Riley in the long jump and the relay of Williams, Carson, Falconer, and Thomas all finishing 1st. Congrats to Maggie Demer, Tyra Smith, Arriana Witherspoon, and LaDejia Pleasant on their personal records!

3-27-2012 Hillcrest, Oak Lawn, and Richards
The team ran great! Wins in the 4x200 and the 100 lead the girls to a 2nd place overall finish losing to hillcrest who is amazing. Great Job ladies! hopefully I will get pictures up soon!

Congrats girls on the win over Chicago Chrisitian and Perspectives Charter. Personal Records were put up by all 4 relays! This is a great way to start the 2012 outdoor season. Freshmen Sierra Riley won the high jump and long jump. Rianna Carson won the hundred and helped the 4x1 of Howard, Falconer, and Thomas to a win. Hope Thomas alson won the 100 hurdles and triple jump. The 4x800 of Campbell, Radgowski, Morrison, and Koronkiwitz ran a season record of11:37. Great Job Girls! Pictures coming soon!

Spring Break
The Lady mustangs finished 4th at their last indoor meet, The Lemont Invite with 9 teams. The 4x200 relay finished first! Rhianna Carson and Hope Thomas also scored individually. Lots of personal records at the March 17th Invite!
